Saturday Fun!

Cadence was having fun with the laundry basket while I was folding the clothes.
Poor man's fun is always the best!

Cadence's First Haircut

Chase and I had been debating on whether we should cut Cadence's hair.
Then, on November 6, I came home from work and Cadence no longer had his little curls.

Daddy was so proud! He did such a good job!

Cadence even said "I love you"!

The curls are no longer.

Now our handsome little boy looks like a handsome little man!

Canning Applesauce

Eversince I was a little girl, I remember my mother canning food.
She always did peaches, raspberries, cherries, pickles, and tomatos, along with an assortment of jams.
This year, I decided that I wanted to can applesauce with the apples that Chase's parents gave us.
After borrowing the canning supplies from my parent's house and many calls to Tanya, we came out with 21 quarts of applesauce.
Tropic, Utah Apples from Chase's mom and dad
Our little stove was barely big enough to boil the apples and can the sauce.
Now I understand why my parents set their kitchen up the way that they did.

The coolest apple grinding machine ever!

Me in all my pregnant canning glory...I am even barefoot.

Chase was awesome and helped me out!

Our fantastic 21 quarts of applesauce.

I felt so accomplished after we were done!

Happy Halloween!

Cadence was a monkey for Halloween. It was very fitting since he loves bananas, climbs on everything, and "Monkey" is his nickname.

He went trick-or-treating and got lots of treats. Then we went home and handed out candy and ate chili while we watched scary movies.

I dressed up as "Mummy" and Chase dressed up as "Deaddy".

Chase and Cadence practiced "scary feet" and doing all sorts of scary things.

It was a fun day!
